Applications

 Performance Evaluation

DataMonitor allows you to  visually evaluate the performance of your receiver, with the  lat/lon and alt/lon ground tracks displayed on a  "bullseye" plot. Establish error radii around your  known position and determine the accuracy of the position fix  over time. The quality of position solutions are plotted in  separate colors for easy differentation between good and bad  fixes.

 Survey

With DataMonitor, you can easily  produce survey-quality results from your receiver using the  built-in performance statistics feature. Once you have  established good fixes, turn on the collection of statistics  and watch the solution close in on the "truth",  even with S/A on!

 Receiver Comparison

Each vendor provides their own "monitor"  software, but learning to use each one can be frustrating and  their results hard to compare. DataMonitor provides a consistent, easy-to-use method for evaluating  different receivers - the displays and user interface are the  same for each one. You will quickly be able to determine  which receiver operates best under test conditions.

 Data Logging/Replay

Use DataMonitor to capture and  log data from your receiver for post-processing, analysis, or  replay. All data captured from the receiver is logged to disk  in real-time. After the collection phase, you can relax and  replay the data from beginning to end, jump into the middle,  restart, or set throttle controls to replay at speeds from  1/8x to 64x real-time.
